| Visiting Africa had always been a dream of mine. In 2002 I decided to finally make that dream come true. So, after 18 months of planning and 14 immunization shots, I spent 27 days in Kenya alone with only a cook and a guide. This is a trip that will be hard to beat. I cannot describe in words why I feel so differently about this continent versus all the others. All I know is that there is no comparison thus far.

I was very lucky to find a travel outfit that was able to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend them to everyone. The biggest difference between Unchartered Outposts and the rest is that you create your own personal safari off of an extensive al a carte menu. You will NOT be shuttled around in a mini-bus with a pop-up roof jammed with 20 people on a pre-defined route.
